2nd stop on our trip, was another American landing site

3rd stop on our trip, also another beach where the Americans landed, also the biggest stetch of beach of the invasion and also was where they built several bridges to unload trucks and supplies to the beach (Some of the pieces of bridges are still there today in the ocean and washed up on the beach)

Album: Longues Battery
4th stop on the trip, this place was the crosshare where the Germans unleashed onto Omaha & Gold beaches. Airpower was useless against this battery.

5th stop on the trip. This is the American Normandy cemetary and it is huge.
